This is Brad Richards' 2012 NHL Winter Classic game-worn New York Rangers jersey. Richards wore this jersey throughout the first period of the game on January 2, 2012 at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia. He was also wearing this shirt when he took the opening faceoff to kick off this great event. The fifth annual Winter Classic was played in front of 46,967 fans that afternoon and saw the Rangers take the 3-2 win over the Philadelphia Flyers on Brad Richards' third period game winning goal. The jersey shows light use as would be expected. There is one long stick mark on the neck as well as a few light marks on the sleeves and hem area. The jersey has the assistant captain's "A" sewn on the left chest and the Winter Classic patch sewn on the right shoulder. It came from the Meigray Group-NHL Authentication program and has their COA.
This jersey is now photo matched to a large board burn on the right shoulder as well as a 4" long loose thread hanging from the rear of the left shoulder.
