Ty-Co Memorabilia
This is Slava Kozlov's Buffalo Sabres white "New York" style game-worn jersey from October 7, 2001. This is the jersey that he wore on that night at Madison Square Garden in New York when the Sabres faced the New York Rangers in this special game. Both teams wore jerseys with the words "New York" positioned diagonally across the front in the wake of the 9-11 attacks on the World Trade Center less than a month earlier. Each of these special jerseys was auctioned off shortly thereafter, raising raised more than $215,000 for the Twin Towers Fund. It has also been autographed by Kozlov on the back between the numbers in black marker, as were all of the jerseys. The shirt shows fantastic use for only one games worth of use with puck/stick marks spread throughout. It originated with the original charity auction in 2001 and comes with a detailed COA directly from the Sabres organization signed by general manager Darcy Regier.
