Ty-Co Memorabilia
This is Brendan Shanahan's 2006-2007 New York Rangers game-worn jersey. This set 1 jersey was used on home ice (and one road game against Toronto) during the beginning of the season. It has nice wear with some stick/puck marks and small board burns on both sleeves. There is also one team repair on the left sleeve. The front and back of the jersey show some use including unrepaired holes and board paint. The assistant captain's "A" is sewn onto the left chest. In the 9 games that Shanahan wore this jersey he recorded 6 goals and 1 assists for 7 points. The jersey came from the NYR-MGG Jersey Authentication program, and has their COA.
This jersey was not worn on 10/5/06, as that is the night that Shanahan scored his 600th career goal and kept that jersey for himself. However, this jersey was worn when he scored goal #601 and #602 to tie and pass Jari Kurri for 14th place on the all-time NHL goal scoring list.
This jersey has been photo matched to a picture in the Rangers' 2006-2007 yearbook from the Rangers - Hurricanes game on 11/21/06.
