Ty-Co Memorabilia

This is Kevin Stevens' 1998-1999 set 1 white liberty game-worn New York Rangers jersey. These jerseys were worn in three games during that season; October 16, 1998 vs. New Jersey Devils at MSG, October 24, 1998 at Philadelphia Flyers, and October 27 vs. Buffalo Sabres at MSG. Stevens played in all three of these games. This jersey has tri-colored numbers and letters, which is why the NHL forced the Rangers to stop wearing this style due to a licensing issue. They then made a second set with two-colored names and numbers which were worn as their alternate jerseys for the rest of the season. This white liberty style alternate jersey was only worn during the 1998-1999 season. In 1999-2000 the Rangers switched back to the navy liberty jersey which they currently wear. The jersey shows light wear as would be expected from three games of use. The left sleeve has a couple of board burns and the number on the left sleeve has a big burn/mark going through it which also created a small hole in the jersey. The jersey has a COA from the New York Rangers.
