This is John Madden's 2003 Stanley Cup Playoff/Stanley Cup Finals New Jersey Devils game-used home white jersey. He used it in 3 games in each of the 4 rounds of the playoffs, including the Stanley Cup Finals until game 7. The jersey has nice use, with heavy stick/puck marks throughout. There are a number of unrepaired holes on the lower arms, and on the lower body. The sleeves have been custom shortened. There are small blood stains on the left chest, and the lower left sleeve. I have photo matched this jersey to an infinite number of pictures , and from a picture in Sports Illustrated (both can be seen below). This jersey came from the Meigray group and has a COA from the MGG-NHL jersey authentication program.
Photo Match 1: The marks on the arm can be clearly matched to this picture.
Photo Match 2: It's not as clear in the scan as it is in the magazine, but the mark in the center of the red on the lower body can be matched to the photo. This mark can also be seen faintly in the photo above.
