Ty-Co Memorabilia

This is a Mike York game-used navy blue CCM helmet. It was used as a third jersey helmet in 01-02 and 00-01 for sure, and possibly York's rookie year, 99-00, with the New York Rangers. When he was traded to the Oilers in 01-02, this became his third jersey, and road helmet. At the end of 01-02 he stopped using it. The helmet came from Totum outdoor outfitters, the distributor of the Edmonton Oilers game-used equipment.

The helmet has moderate use...Medium to heavy external use, and light internal use. It has the Oilers "16" sticker, the 9-11 ribbon, and the NHL shield on the back, and 2 Oilers symbols on each side. Inside, there is the NYR SKATE, and NHL stickers. There are no Rangers numbers stickers since the Rangers don't use numbers on their alternate helmets. There appears to be some extra padding in the helmet.

I have photo matched this helmet to a picture of York playing for the Oilers on the cover of (the Oilers magazine) ZONE.
