Ty-Co Memorabilia

This is a Mike York game-used home white helmet. It was used with the New York Rangers, and the Edmonton Oilers. The helmet has the 9-11 ribbon, NHL sticker, #16 stickers, and the Oilers emblem on the sides. Inside, there is the Rangers #18, NHL, and NYR SKATE stickers. The helmet has GREAT use on the inside and outside. It came from Totum outdoor outfitters in Edmonton, the distributor of Edmonton Oilers game-used equipment.

This helmet was definitely used during the 2001-2002 season with the Edmonton Oilers, and in 2001-2002 and 2000-2001 with the New York Rangers. The Oilers stickers on the outside indicate that it was last used with the Oilers in the 2001-2002 season. The "18", NYR SKATE, and NHL stickers inside the helmet indicate that it was used during the 2000-2001 and/or 1999-2000 season with the Rangers. I would have to think it was used in all three years....Why would they give a rookie a new helmet after one year, then make a second year player use the same one for two...
