Ty-Co Memorabilia
This is an Ilya Kovalchuk game-used Easton Z-bubble shaft, with a Bauer blade. It was used during the 2002 Olympic games in Salt Lake City. This was Ilya's rookie year, and he won a bronze medal at the Olympics. The stick shows heavy use, with puck marks throughout the shaft. "71" is written on the handle tape in black marker. The stick came direct from the equipment manager of team Russia.
This stick has been photo matched to a Russia Vs. USA game from the 2002 Olympics.

Photo match: The Diagonal puck mark on the toe of the blade can be seen in the picture below of Ilya playing for Team Russia at the Olympics, and in the picture above of the back of the blade.
